Religion Court of Bengkulu is 5 (five) religious courts are courts of first instance are located in the capital city or district as Bengkulu province whose jurisdiction covers the area of the city and county, and the High Court of Bengkulu religious court of appeal which is based in city or capital of Bengkulu province whose jurisdiction covers the area of Bengkulu.

Bengkulu Regional Profile

Bengkulu province geographically located between 2o 16 3o 31 01 South latitude and 101o East Longitude 103o 41. Bengkulu Province is located on the western side of the Bukit Barisan mountains. The total area of Bengkulu Province reached approximately 1978.7 km2. The province of Bengkulu province extends from the border to the border of West Sumatra province of Lampung. Bengkulu province borders in the north bordering the province of West Sumatra, in the Southern Ocean bordering Indonesia and Lampung Province, in the west bordering the Indonesian Ocean and on the east borders the province of Jambi and South Sumatra.

Bengkulu province administratively divided into 8 districts and 1 city, namely South Bengkulu, Rejang Lebong, North Bengkulu, Kaur, Seluma, Muku Muko, Lebong, Kepahiang and the Capital City of Bengkulu province. If the views of the area, North Bengkulu has the largest area with 5548.54 km2 (28.04%) and Bengkulu city has the smallest area with 144.52 km2 (0.73%).

Main commodity Bengkulu Province namely agriculture and service sectors. The agriculture sector is superior commodity crop plantation sub-sector with commodities such as palm oil, coconut, cocoa, pepper, coffee and rubber. While the fisheries sub-sector is fisheries. As for supporting the agricultural commodity sub-sectors, namely fisheries, including aquaculture, aquaculture ponds and paddy cultivation. Superior commodity services sector is the field of tourism, such as nature tourism and marine tourism. While supporting other commodities contained in the mining sector in the form of coal mining.

To support economic activity, Bengkulu Province has two industrial estates namely Salau and Sekunyit which are both located in South Bengkulu. The province also has three (3) sea ports namely Port Bintuhan / Linau located in Muko Muko, Port Malakoni Enggano in Bengkulu City and Port Island in North Bengkulu Baai. For air transport, the province has two (2) airports, namely airport Fatmawati that can accommodate small to medium sized aircraft, is located in the city of Bengkulu and Muko Muko Airport is only to serve small aircraft types, located in Muko Muko Kabupetan.
